We are seeking a CAD Designer who excels at completing complex telecommunications projects in a fast-paced environment. Ramaker's Telecom Designers are responsible for collaborating with various members of the Telecom Market Team and play an integral role in project deliverables.

Most of Ramaker's employee-owners work remotely from their homes, but have the option to work from our Madison, WI office if they prefer an onsite or hybrid work environment. For this position, we are seeking candidates that are within a reasonable driving distance to Madison, WI.

Your day to day as a TELECOM CAD DESIGNER

Our Telecom CAD Designers are highly independent. Once assigned a project, they produce high-quality project deliverables, aim for minimal redlines, and focus on continuous improvement, seeking guidance from project managers, engineers, and design leads in new or unusual situations. They are customer-focused, becoming an expert on their clients' standards.

Designers use AutoCAD, MS Office, and Bluebeam to manage their personal workload and time effectively and proactively share their best practices with others!

What matters most

To thrive as a Telecom CAD Designer, you will possess an associates or bachelor's degree in a related engineering or architectural field, and will have applied that in the work environment for at least three years, preferably in the telecom industry.

You will be proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Bluebeam, allowing you to be able to produce high quality drawings under deadline pressure. You will be an excellent communicator, keeping all stakeholders informed, asking important questions, and sharing your ideas and knowledge with others.
